BMW 7-Series Hybrid


BMW launched its new 7-series in Paris and unveiled a hybrid concept version which will cut fuel use by 15 percent. It combines a V8 engine with electric drive with a mild hybrid system. Expect the hybrid in 2009.

Mercedes S400 Hybrid


Mercedes-Benz is introducing the S400, a hybrid version of its S-Class luxury sedan, in the United States. But much of the details of the upcoming S400 Hybrid are still uncertain. That includes the vehicle’s launch period. Some sources say 2009, while others say 2010. If it becomes available in 2010, it may overlap with the probable launch of the Mercedes Benz S400 Bluetec Hybrid, which was unveiled as a concept vehicle at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Peugeot Prologue


The diesel-electric crossover uses a hybrid powertrain called “HYmotion4.” Peugeot claims that the car emits just 109g/km in mixed driving.

Renault Fluence

The French manufacturer has confirmed that they will launch the Renault Fluence, based on a concept first shown in 2004. The company says an electric version will arrive in 2011!!!

2009 Lamborghini Gallardo


The 2009 Gallardo is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, available in one trim only, the LP560-4 Coupe. Upon introduction, the Gallardo is equipped with a standard 5.2-liter, V10, 552-horsepower engine that achieves 11-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
Costs only $198,000 compared to the other model which costs $1,500,000 !!!!!!

Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe



FOR The Gallardo oozes supercar cool and has the performance and handling to back it up. It’s also useable everyday and is a sound financial bet.

AGAINST There’s very little luggage space and it has the running costs to go with the supercar tag.
